Website Leads
Effective July 15, 2026. Website Leads helps local service businesses get found, turn interest into inquiries, and follow each lead through calls, forms, email and text. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, when we disclose it, and the choices available to you.
This Policy applies to websiteleads.app, my.websiteleads.app, consultation requests, customer accounts, and Website Leads services that link to it. It does not replace the privacy policy of a local business that uses Website Leads. When we handle that business's customer leads, calls, messages or website analytics on its instructions, the business controls the purpose of the processing and Website Leads acts as its service provider or processor.
When you visit our marketing website, request a consultation, create a Website Leads account, or deal with us directly, Website Leads is responsible for the processing described in this Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide. A consultation request can include your name, work email, business name, phone number, website, growth goals, current lead volume, expected growth budget, and anything you add about your business or desired results. Customer accounts can include your profile, role, organization, authentication details, preferences, and support communications.
Lead and communication information. When we provide services to a client business, we may process names, email addresses, phone numbers, form messages, email and text content, call details, voicemail, recordings, transcripts, appointment preferences, service addresses, and other information a person chooses to provide while asking that business for service.
Technical and activity information. Our systems can receive an IP address, browser and device details, request origin, referring or requested page, session information, security events, and timestamps. The customer portal uses session cookies for authentication. Client websites may provide aggregate visits and pageviews, lead attribution, and Google Search Console data such as queries, clicks, impressions, and average position.
Business and generated information. We process client business names, domains, locations, services, service areas, brand assets, site content, domain registration details, and performance data. We may create lead summaries, transcripts, content drafts, image prompts, SEO recommendations, and other outputs from information supplied to the service.
Depending on the context, these records can fall within categories such as identifiers, contact information, professional or commercial information, internet activity, approximate location inferred from an IP address, audio or electronic communications, and inferences. Please do not send government identifiers, payment-card data, medical details, or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for the service you requested.
3. How We Collect Information
We collect information directly from you when you submit a form, create an account, contact us, upload material, or communicate by phone, text or email.
We collect technical information automatically when a browser or device connects to our website, portal, APIs, or hosted client sites. This includes ordinary server and security logs needed to deliver a page, maintain a session, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors.
We receive information from the client business that authorized us to provide services, from people interacting with that business, and from connected providers such as phone, email, hosting, analytics, search, domain, and AI services. We may also use public business information when building or improving a client's website and local-search presence.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to review and respond to consultation requests; create and secure accounts; build, host and improve websites; route leads to the correct business; support calls, text messages and email; produce reports and attribution; provide domain, search, content and lead-follow-up services; and communicate about the service.
We also use information to prevent spam, fraud and misuse; rate-limit requests; maintain audit and security records; troubleshoot and improve reliability; enforce agreements; protect our clients, users and services; and comply with law.
Where a law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform a contract or take requested steps before a contract, pursue legitimate interests such as operating and securing the service, comply with legal obligations, and rely on consent when consent is required. We do not use customer or lead information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement.
5. AI, Calls and Client Services
Some Website Leads features use artificial intelligence. Business profiles, service details, website content, images, lead context, call audio or transcripts may be sent to AI providers to generate website copy, screen images, transcribe or summarize calls, assist a live voice agent, or recommend SEO work. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect, so it is reviewed or presented as assistance rather than treated as an independent decision about a person.
When a client enables call handling, calls may be routed, recorded, transcribed or summarized. Related records can include caller and recipient numbers, call status and timing, recording audio, voicemail, transcripts, and information the caller provides, such as a name, callback number, address, service need, or preferred appointment time.
The client business is responsible for giving notices and obtaining any consent required for its forms, calls, recordings, messages, advertising, and customer relationships. If you contacted one of our clients, direct a privacy request to that business first. We will assist the business with requests that concern information we process on its behalf.
6. How We Disclose Information
We disclose information to the client business that requested the service, its authorized users and recipients, and service providers that help us operate Website Leads. Depending on the feature, these providers include Cloudflare for hosting, security, email routing and analytics; Resend for email delivery; Twilio for calls, recordings, text and media messages; OpenAI, Anthropic and Google services for AI, transcription, content and search features; Spaceship for domain registration; and Framer's content delivery network for limited website media.
We can also disclose information to professional advisers, auditors, insurers, regulators, courts or law enforcement when reasonably necessary to comply with law, establish or defend legal claims, investigate abuse, or protect rights and safety. If Website Leads is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, information may be reviewed or transferred as part of that transaction subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information collected through this website for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information. We may disclose deidentified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify a person.
7. Cookies and Tracking
The Website Leads marketing landing page does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies and does not store information in local storage. It reads your browser's local time only to display the on-page clock and does not transmit that clock value.
The customer portal uses cookies needed to sign you in, keep a session secure, and remember authentication state. Client websites may use Cloudflare Web Analytics and other tools chosen by the client. A confirmation image on this landing page is delivered by Framer's content delivery network, which receives ordinary request information such as an IP address and browser details when the image loads.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but required authentication features may stop working. We do not currently process personal information for targeted advertising or sale, so an opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control does not change the behavior of this website. If that practice changes, we will update this Policy and honor legally required browser-based opt-out signals.
8. Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose described in this Policy, including providing the service, maintaining lead and account history, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, meeting tax or legal requirements, and protecting the service.
Call audio files are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Call metadata, lead records, transcripts and summaries may remain longer when needed for the client business's lead history, service delivery, security or legal obligations. Consultation requests, form submissions, emails, texts, account records and audit logs are retained according to the relationship and operational need rather than a single fixed period.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it, deidentify it, or place it beyond ordinary use, subject to backup cycles and legal holds. Aggregated or deidentified statistics may be retained for longer because they do not identify an individual.
9. Security and International Processing
We use administrative, technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss and misuse. These measures include access controls, authenticated sessions, origin restrictions, rate limiting, audit records, and encrypted network connections where supported. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Website Leads is operated in the United States. We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where privacy laws differ from those where you live. When required, we use contractual or other recognized safeguards for international transfers.
Links and services controlled by another company are governed by that company's privacy practices. Review their policies before giving them personal information.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may ask to know or access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, delete information, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, restrict certain processing, or opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or profiling used for significant decisions. You may also use an authorized agent and may not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.
To make a request, email privacy@websiteleads.app with the subject “Privacy Request” and describe the right you want to exercise. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity and authority. If we processed the information only for a client business, we may direct the request to that business or respond on its instructions.
If we deny a request and your law provides an appeal right, reply to our decision with the subject “Privacy Appeal” and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
California residents may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the sources, business purposes, and categories of recipients; request correction or deletion; and opt out of sale or sharing. In the 12 months before this Policy's effective date, the categories we collected and disclosed for business purposes are described in Sections 2 and 6. We did not sell those categories or share them for cross-context behavioral advertising.
